AN UNPLEASANT MOMENT (by Andy)

When I read Luc`s last post my lower jaw start to tremble and was difficult to read with my eyes brimming with tears.
I love my big bro, he has the most tender heart. He made me feel a bunch of the most beautiful emotions inside. My heart starts beating so fast I think it will get out of my chest. Luc fill up my life with happiness too. He is beautiful. I did not want to let go of the hug this morning and ask him to allow me to go to the Academy as a visitor today because I want to be with him. I just have two exams today and I was to be free since 10:00AM. He told me it was ok, to ask the driver to drop me at the Academy that they will have the permit ready for me with the cadet in charge at the main gate.

I arrived at the Academy about 10:45AM and the cadet explain to me where to find Luc. I start to walk following the signs and when passing by a group of cadets one of them, the tallest says "Look at this flower" and slapped my butt so hard that I screamed out of pain and ask him "Why did you hit me like this?, What did I have done to you?, I am very sure that if I were as tall as you, you had not beaten me. Why don`t you better show some love to others." The kid told me approaching me "So, you are an smart ass mouth, don`t you?" He pushed me hard and I fell backwards. I stand up and he hit me in the face breaking my lips and making me bleed. The others grabbed him telling him if he was crazy and to leave me alone. He turn around and walked away meanwhile two of them approach me asking me if I was ok. "I am fine, thanks" I answered them and keep walking. I was trembling and shocked. The bullying attitude hurts me a lot more than the punch. A lot of bad memories came back to me and I start to tear down. He hurt me inside way more than outside.

I clean my self the best I can with the back of my t-shirt for Luc not to see me bleeding and treated to be normal because I know Luc but I was bleeding profusely and feeling with my tongue that I had a deep cut on my upper lip so when I get to the classroom where Luc was at and showed the teacher the permit, he introduce me to the class but I ask to talk to Luc in private and the teacher allows him. As soon as we were in the hallway Luc grabbed my chin and asked me "Why your lips are so swollen Andy?", I lowered my head because I was afraid of his reaction towards the kid that hit me and I just want him to take me to the infirmary but he grabbed my chin lifting my head and told me "I need to know what happened Andy. I will not going to do nothing stupid." I explain to him how the whole incident happened and he lifted my upper lip, flipped it to see inside and told me "You need couple of stitches. I will take you to the hospital. Let me inform my teacher." He was tearing down out sadness but out of rage. He hugged me and kissed me so tender and tight and told me "I am so sorry Andy." He inform his teacher and Julian and the others jumped from their seats and came out to the hallway asking me if I was ok, I told them I was fine, not to worry.

In the way to the Director`s office Luc called his Dad and explain to him and asked him to let my Dad knows. Uncle told him to wait for him at the Academy that he was on his way with uncle Robert and my parents.

Luc asked me if I saw the last name of the kid who hit me on his uniform and I told him it was "Correa". We went straight to the Director`s office and Luc asked me to explain to him the whole incident which I did. The Director send for Correa and as soon Correa went inside the office Luc told him "Have to be you bully. Why don`t you hit me in the same way? Common and do it to me. You are a coward and an abuser, always bothering the ones you know can`t not defense them selves against you." Correa "This have anything to do with you Horneck."  Luc "Guess what? It does because he is my little brother who came as a visitor to this Academy today to spend the rest of the day with me. So, have to do everything with me and more." The Director "Mr. Horneck please, let me talk with Mr. Correa in private and I will call you back inside." Luc "Sr. my Dad is on his way here and Andy will need stitches in his upper lip, he is bleeding profusely. I recommended for you to call Correa`s parents because I will do all in my power for this bully to spend the night in juvenile detention. Which will be better for him before I smash all his face around." Facing Correa "You bullied the wrong kid and I promise you that you will never forget this one coward."  Correa was pale and tearing down. "I will take my little brother to infirmary Sr." Luc told the Director and he nodded yes. Then Correa told Luc "Horneck I am sorry. I did not know it was your little brother, please do not involve my parents." Luc "You are so wrong about bullying Correa. I warned you once. The point is not because is my little brother, is because you have no right to bullied any kid. Not in here or out of here. You will take responsibility for you action this time and I recommended you to stay away from me the days to come, because even I am not a bully like you, and knowing is wrong to beat you up real good, right know is what I want to do. If I do not see you around will be the best for your interest because I do not know how I will going to react the next time I see you out of this office."

Luc told me to follow him to the infirmary. He was visibly shaking and I saw all the veins in his neck pumping hard. I grabbed him by his arm to stopped and hugged him. He was tearing down out of rage but he hugged me so tight and told me "Do not worry beautiful . I am fine. Just hurt me that Correa abused you this way and I have to restrain my self not to pay him back the same way." At the infirmary the doctor give me two stitches in the inside of my upper lip and two prescriptions, one for anti-inflammatory  and the other one for pain. We walked back to the Director`s office and that`s when all hell broke loose. When we were approaching to the office, we heard voices in the hallway and Correa saying to the other kids that were called because they were present when the incident happened "I do not know who Horneck think he is. I kick his little sister butt and will do it again." He was saying that after been mumbling apologies to Luc in the Director`s office and this infuriate Luc. At that moment we just turned the corner and Correa went pale as a paper sheet. Luc went straight to him and Correa read in his eyes danger because he advance towards Luc throwing a punch to him. What a mistake. Luc made a judo move and taking advantage of his motion, grabbed his arm, throw him self backwards on the floor still grabbing his arm, positioning his legs on his abdomen area while going down backwards and the last thing I know, Correa flew over Luc flipping over and slamming hard on his back on the floor. Luc turned still grabbing his arm and I just heard a chilling crack and Correa screaming out of pain. Luc just broke his right arm. Then seat over him and start punching him on his face but I just throw my self over Luc screaming at him "NO LUC! PLEASE STOP!", and Luc stand up and told him "Hurts? You will think twice now on before you hit another kid bully and do not you dare to touch any kid again in here specially any of my little brothers." Correa was screaming out of pain and bleeding from his nose and mouth. His right arm was broke at his elbow or is what I thought at that moment. Every body came out of the Director`s office. Luc`s parents, uncle Robert, the Director, Correa`s parents and my parents. Correa was screaming and their parents rush to him then he told them "Horneck broke my arm." His Dad calls the paramedics and then starts marching towards Luc but two of the security gays with uncle Robert and Lucas jump in front of him, he try to over running them but they grabbed and restrain  him against the hallway wall without hurting him and told him to calm down or they will have to use more force on him.

Uncle Lucas told him "I think we are even now Mr. Correa. I felt the same rage as you are feeling right now every time my son share with me how bully your son is with other kids and how the complains to you about his behavior have been dropping into deaf ears. No wonder Sr. Just watching your attitude I all ready know from where he have been learning such behavior. I recommend for you to take your son to receive medical attention Sr. And I hope not to see your son again in this Educational Institution. Have a good day Mr. and Mrs. Correa."

Uncle Lucas turned to the Director and told him "Have a good day Sr. Please keep me post it. I am taking my son with me." The Director "Good day to you all. Yes Mr. Horneck I will call you later on to keep you post it."

Uncle Lucas told us to go back home and we head to our vehicles. When we were exiting the paramedics were in their way in. We learn later on that Correa`s arm was not fractured but he will use a cast. He was expelled from the Academy. One bully less.

Violence is not an approved or teaching behavior in our families. I know Luc feels bad about having to used but after the explanations from the Director about how all happened, uncle Lucas told Luc that is ok to defend him self and his little brothers. This maybe will sound bad but I feel very protected with what happened today. I do not say happy, but protected and with a very warmth feeling inside and loving my big brother like crazy. Is the first time in my life that some body stand up for me when I have been bullied. I am only child and did not have a big brother to stand up for me, not until I meet my now big brother Luc.

Luc, you does not know how happy I am for have you as a big brother. You stand up for me today and I will never forget this. I know you will for ever though and the knowledge of this, have made explode inside me an indescribable feeling of safeness and confidence. This have elevated the level of sel- esteem inside me to the sky. Thank you big brother. Thank you so very much. I love you.

I hope and wish that any kid will never have to go through something like this, but if comes to you I hope that you will know how to defend your self.

Be careful out there. Do not let no one to abuse you. Tell some body.
