How little I feel in comparison with you Duarte.
So sorry you have to become a man so early. You are more than a soldier my friend. What a privilege that I can call you my friend. I am proud of that. I am so proud of you. You are a man Duarte. I salute you.
This kid is so awesome!. Yes he cried lots and was hard for him and his little brother to see his Dad buried, but he handled everything like the man he is. He is a 15 yo man.
My Dad is waiting for the temporary custody papers. The Judge approve it and the Duarte brothers will be staying with us. They just have an uncle that actually lives in Madrid, is married and have two kids. He will meet with my Dad as soon as we get to Madrid tomorrow.
My Dad told Duarte that he and his little brother have a home, which is our home. Not to worry about any need because will be covered. His little brother will continue his studies and him as well. I love my Dad.
You got a family Duarte brothers. You are not or will be alone. What a privilege to be able to be here for you two. Is our honor.

When your dad takes control of a crisis the results can be quite impressive, and as always his heart works without the constraints of what it may cost. I must also pay credit to you Luc, the way your heart has reached out to the brothers during this heart breaking time.
Please give them a warm hug, I feel their pain as if it was my own.

I have known you and your family for many months now. And I see the awesome love that has been passed down through generations in your family. It is so easy to see that your tender, loving heart is inherited through your awesome dad who inherited his from his dad. You and your family's doing what is "natural and normal" because of your deep abiding love in God. The brothers Duarte will not only have a home where there is love and appreciation, but one that has God in its center.
I thank God every day for each of you and the awesome example and inspiration that you are.
