One of my favorites tv channels is military channel.
I was watching a program about WWII and the statistics at the end just disturb me.
There is no glory in the cost of human life.
-23 millions troops both sides.
-roughly 32 millions civilians.
-13,600,000 millions troops and 7,700,000 civilians (Soviet Union)
-13 millions China.
-7       "       Poland.
-6       "       Jude.
-51/2  "       Germans.
-2       "       Japan.
-600,000    French.
-350,000    Italy.
-350,000    British and 90,000 civilians.
-300,000    American troops.

About 55 million people die.
